Voting button tracking in Outlook 07 is not working - why?

I send a message weekly to 100 people with 2 custom voting choices. The vote
tracking is not tracking! The first two weeks it worked like a charm. Then
for three weeks it recorded 3 - 4 responses and quit - but it listed everyone
the email was sent to in alpha by first name. The most recent, sent 5/27/08
is recording as the responses arrive, by date. but does not list the entire
list so I don't know who hasn't responded. I haven't changed a thing other
than to create a group list to use rather than having to edit a different
list each week. HELP!!

First, When you add by group, it will not "explode" (break out) the names
until a response comes back.

As to not tallying...the message has to be left in the SENT ITEMS folder
and you need to open each response to have it "tally'd" on the sent mail.

Nikki, I think moving the sent message may have been the problem with the
two earlier emails, but I did not move the one sent Tuesday 5/27/08.

This most recent email is tabulating, but rather than displaying the ENTIRE
list, it is only displaying the responses as they arrive, so I have no way of
knowing who has not yet responded. The purpose for this email is to have all
recepients reply one way or another. I realize I could print the list, and
check off the emails, but . . . yuck. Any ideas on what is going on with
this?

There is not much you can do now. It is already done. However,
in the future you will want to "Explode" the group list PRIOR to
sending it.

By this I mean, before you hit the SEND button, click on the
"+" (plus) button next to your distribution list. This will present
an "Expand List" message. Click OK.

This way you can still use the HandyDandy Distribution List
so you do not have to type every name or pick it, but it will
explode (or expand) to add each person individually. You will
have your full recipient list visible.
