Voting buttons viewable in other email applications

If you create an e-mail message in OL with voting buttons can those buttons
be viewed in other e-mail applications? I also need to know what settings
need to be setup to use voting buttons. I believe the format needs to be
RTF, and you also have to make sure what format you are sending to specific
recipients by double-clicking but is there anything else? I tried creating
one from my OL07 at work and sent it to my OL03 at home and could not see any
voting buttons. I saw that the format was RTF, yet there were still no
voting buttons. what am I missing here??

No.

I just tested this with an Outlook 2007 RTF message to Outlook 2007 and the
message went to html (html has always worked with voting for me). Instead of
buttons I'm getting "Click Here to Vote:" in the Reading Pane and "Vote by
clicking Vote in the Respond Group above" in the open Message window. Much
tidier than those big ugly buttons.

Try Outlook 2007 to Outlook 2007.

did you open it or look at it in preview? one version kinda hide the buttons
in the infobar so they were easily missed.

I sent from 07 at work to my 03 PC at home and did not see the click here
option in the reading pane. I tried it the other way a couple of times as
well, when sending it from 03 OL to 07 OL. Could there be an issue once it
enters or leaves our Exchange server??

I did not try that. In webmail that is not an option, but I can try when I
get home tonight again. My question is do voting buttons even work, when
sending it outside our work domain or does the Exchange server strip some
information??

Thanks

I did not open in preview, however I can check that one out at home tonight.
My question is if it even works outside my work domain, or if exchange server
strips out information.

Thanks

Servers outside Exchange can strip the message but it usually works.
Can you try Outlook 2007 to Outlook 2007. Even if you just send it from one
POP3 account in your profile to another.
