vpn compatibility

I have been having major compatibilty problems w/ cisco's
vpn client installed on my dell d5oo latitude laptop. It
no longer pulls an ip address, it is an interrmittant
problem, and i can still ping the loopback. The intel
adapter is a pro/100 ve and pro wireless lan 2100 3a mini
pci adapter.

This issue occurs w/ both.
