VPN - Exchange Server

I am in the process of seeting up Outlook 2000 on my home PC so that I can read my mail from work via my VPN connection. We use Exchange Servers at work. I got almost there (w/ valuable help from Roady here), but I have one more problem. When I connected to my Exchange server via VPN all of my msgs came flooding into my HDD. I think I need to change a proprety in the 'Delivery' tab to deliver new msgs to my mailbox on the Exchange server. However, when I change that and then Apply, I get the msg 'The default set of folders could not be specified. The information store could not be opened.'. Any ideas?? Thanks in advance....

Hi Dave,

Good to hear you came this far already. It sounds like your default delivery
location is a local file indeed. You can change this in your E-mail Account
overview (Control Panel-> Mail). If this doesn't work you might want to
create a separate mail profile which just holds the Exchange account. It
will save you from a lot of errors since the VPN connection isn't
permanently available.
