VSTA not launching

I installed VSTA for infopath today, and when trying to launch the editor
(menu, or alt-shft-F12) I get an error from "Microsoft Visual Studio Tools
for Applications" text "This Project cannot be opened because the in-process
host is not registered. Contract support for the application."

I tried installing/uninstalling the infopath VSTA but same error.

Any thoughts/

you have to uninstall .net framework 2 support from infopath while installing microsoft installation cd and install it again
