Word 2000 has suddenly lost its insert>symbol application table (running
XP).
Special characters still accessible by shortcut keys.
How to repair?
Cause (how could it happen)?
Help appreciated

Thanks to JF, it worked. Why the incident happened, and why I didn't find
the solution on the net myself, having tried, escapes me. But this group
