W2003: How to start "chapter" on odd Page

R

Ralf

Hi all,

i habe a dokument where i have to start Paragraph with format "chapter" and
"subChapter" on odd pages. In additional i have to insert a blank page with
the text "notice" before the "chapter" (not before "subChapter").

A odd sectionstart will lose some pagenumbers on the footer. So this is not
the right way. And inserting the "notice"-Page before the "chapter"??

I think i have to walk through the paragraphs and if the paragraph is
formated as "chapter" i have to insert a blank page and pagebreaks to reach
odd pagenumber.

But how to know how much pagebreaks? How do i know the pagenumber of a
parapgraph?

Any other idea to solve the problem?

Regards
Ralf...

You can use the Selection.Information(wdActiveEndPageNumber) property to
determine if the page on which the Chapter starts is Odd or Even and insert
a pagebreak before it if required.
