w2k pro client open excel file always show no response

Hello, Can anyone help me troubleshoot this problem? I have 1 w2k pro user
always hang went it open the excel file in file server. I have check the spec
of the PC which is same to other user was working fine. I have change a new
hard disk for the PC & also upgraded the RAM for it. Please help on this
problem.
