Wahy to turn off attachment warning in Outlook 2007

Tom

I don't want to be prompted "You should only open attachments from a
trustworthy source ..." warning in Outlook 2007 on Vista when trying to open
Office 2007 and 2003 .doc, .docx, xls, xlsx, and .pdf files.

Unfortunately, the "Always ask before opening this file" checkbox is
disabled, so I can not remove the checkmark on it.

Is there a way to enable the checkbox?

The Folder Option applet does NOT have "extension" to select. It has 3
tabs: General (with Tasks, Browse, and Click sections) and a View and Search
tab.

I'm logged in as an administrator.

Milly, is your suggestion for a Vista machine (like I'm on) or XP?

Thanks!!

Hi

I too am experiencing the problem described below. However, when I use
Control Panel > Folder Options, I don't have a File Types choice. There are
three sections in the dialogue: "Tasks", "Browse Folders" and "Click items as
follows". There is no "Advanced" command button anywhere that I can find.

I am using Windows Vista Ultimate v6.0 (build 6000).

Many thanks,
Nick
