When I get the properties for the inbox, The 'Show home page by default
for
this folder' is greyed out because there's nothing in the Address box
underneath it.
If I get the properties for the Outlook Personal Folder, there is
something
in the address box. I've therfore done as you suggested.
The problem is intermittent, so I'll have to wait to see if it's any
better.
As to your second question, I'm sorry, but I don't understand. If you're
talking about the Windows Start up folder, there's nothing about Outlook
in
there.
Thanks for your patience.

Did you try turning off outlook today then turning it back on? (right
click
on the mailbox folder, choose properties, folder homepage tab and turn
off
show home page, turn it back on.).
Which folder is your start up folder? with the to-do bar, you really
don't
need outlook today at start up.

Outlook 2007 on Vista, all fully patched.
When I try to open Outlook, the screen loads but I get "Waiting for
Outlook:Today" in the bottom left hand corner. It stays there for up to
2
minutes, and eventually goes onto Databinding etc before the
application
becomes usable.
I've tried the Repair from Control Panel,Add/Remove programmes.
How can I cut down this delay?
Thanks
