Want all columns to print all on one page

Some documents I have lots and lots of columns.

What is the procedure where you would want everything to print on one sheet
of paper, but not on one page.

In other words, it all shows on one sheet, but you can have many sheets.
Thanks!

I'm afraid I have no idea what you're asking for - are you talking
about sheets of paper, or worksheets?

You can get your entire print area to print on one sheet of paper by
choosing File/Page Setup, and in the Scaling section of the Page pane of
the Page Setup dialog, select the Fit to 1 page(s) wide by 1 tall radio
button.

I mean sheets of paper.
Lets say I have a lot of columns, and this file will print out to 20 pages
of paper.
So I want all the columns to show on the each of the 20 pages consistently.
So I have columns A-L on page 1, and then again I see A-L on page 2, and
page three etc.

How do you tell Excel you want columns A-L to print on every page, but you
have 500 rows, so you don't want the whole file on a single page, it's too
much to fit on a singe sheet of paper.

Minor edit for your case: set to 1 page wide by however many pages tall.

Note that if you leave the "tall" textbox blank, XL will automatically
print the required number of pages.

Thanks Dayo/JE Great, helps lot!

Couple things:

Get about an inch on the right margin of blank white, real waste of space,
any ideas on that? (both margins set 1/4 ")

Also, any way to get that first row with vital info, COMPANY, FIRST NAME,
.......
To print at top of every page??????

Set the first row or rows as the print titles and it will show on each page.

The page size calculation isn't exact. When I need to tweak it, I first
choose the 1 page(s) wide option and close the dialog.

I then open the Page Setup dialog again, and select the "Adjust to X%
normal size" radio button in the Scaling section of the Page pane. The %
shown will be whatever the 1 page(s) wide calculation came up with. I
then try bumping that percentage up to eliminate the white space.

In the Sheet pane of the Page Setup Dialog, enter your header's row
number(s) in the Print Titles/Rows to repeat at top text box, e.g.:

$1:$1

(or select them on your sheet using the mouse).

Thanks Bob/JE

I raised the percentage a bit, but as soon as I do, the last column gets
bumped, don't see it on preview, oh well. I'm printing out bunch test,
nothing will get rid of that space on right.

Now how do you select that first row to put in the "rows to repeat at top"
I put a1:ao worked! How do you that with mouse?

It hard to tell on preview, even selecting the magnifying glass, still too
small see what going on.

Kevs,

It sounds like what you want is print titles on every page, but several
pages. Look in Excel help for Print titles, this will show you how to set
up the titles for the columns and/or rows if you want them. Then I page set
up set to fit to 1 page wide, but make sure the tall box is blank. If you
have what you think is extra white space in the margins, you will need to
experiment with the margin settings and column widths to get it all used.
Excel will not split a column. So, in calculating the print width, things
may not round off exactly, so excel stops at the last full column. Forcing
this to a page width may cause some white space.
