Want no page loading on startup

When I load word 2000 it always brings up a blank page,
all I want up is the dark Word screen so I can bring up
the File/Open dialog box or is there a way for it to
appear directly on start up? Thanks to those that reply,

Use the /n startup switch. Type in "Control what happens
when you start Microsoft Word" in Words help for more
information.
