Want to keep results but not formula

The first 2 cols of my spreadsheet contain the first and last names,
and the third column uses the formula =B2&", "&A2 to concatenate their
name. I would like to delete the first 2 columns and just keep the 3rd
col containing their names. Is there a way to do that? Thanks.

Hi

Copy column C the Paste Special>Values back over the column.
This will "fix" the data and you can then delete columns A & B

Highlight column C and click <copy>, then right-click and choose Paste
Special | Values | OK then <Enter>. This will fix those formulae as
values, and so you can delete columns A and B. You might want to just
hide them, though, as it is easier to sort or filter etc. if you have
the names in separate columns.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for your prompt response. Worked like a charm.

Just to add another solution the free ASAP Utilities has a function "Change
formulas to their calculated values"

Thanks Eric, I'll keep that one in mind too.
