Want to open Word 2000 but try to open Word 2003

I have Windows XP machine. I installed Office 2003 initially, but decided
to use Office 2000 instead.
I uninstalled Office 2003, then installed Office 2000.

When I try to open Word from the Start menu, it trys to open Word2003 with
an error message.
Would someone let me know how I can fix so that it opens Word 2000
correctly?

You may need to recreate the shortcut in the Start menu. Delete the
current shortcut and search for WinWord.exe. Once found, then
right-drag WinWord.exe back into position on the Start menu. When you
release the right mouse button select "Create Shortcut here".
