want to see pic attachments in body of e-mail.

Hi there
Previously I could view incoming e-mail's attachments (pics) in the body of
the text without having to open each one individually. In incredimail this
is also true. By just scrolling down, I could view all the pics.
On my new computer with Window's XP and Office 2003, this seems to be
impossible.
Am I overlooking something?
I do my e-mail formatting through Word 2003.
Regards

Not in Outlook. Outlook Express, sure.

Nope, you not overlooking anything. Outlook does not present attached
images in the Reading Pane.

This is a common thread here and I'm sure there are a lot more people out
there who don't know of this resource. It should be clear to microsoft that
the people want their picture in-line where they put them. Please make it so
Mr Gates.

So, embed them if that's what you want. What's stopping you?

I do, and so do people who send me pictures. I send in HTML format but I
always receive the text in the reading pane and the images in a long list
that I have to open one at a time, just like the OP.

Just so you know, Outlook 2007 and newer will let in do an in-line preview
of specific attachment types.
