want to send through non-exchange account

I have 2 email accounts set up in ol2007. One is a regular pop3 and
the other is exchange. I want to only send out through the pop3
account and not exchange, but as soon as I set up the exchange
account, everything goes through exchange and I get a 553 error. Can I
have outlook send only through the non-exchange account? How?
