Want user to add command button to menu bar

Marie

I have created templates of all the forms our company
uses. To access these templates, I have created another
template (probably a document would have done as well)
named Sensient Template that has macros with associated
buttons on the menu bar that opens a document based on the
desired template. From a CD I supply, the user copies the
Sensient Template along with all the other templates into
his/her templates folder. Here's the question. How can I
easily have a beginner user get a button on his/her
toolbar to open the Sensient template.

Thanks. This one has me baffled.

If you install your 'sentient template' as an add-in template rather than a
document template, you will have the menus toolbar available without user
intervention.

Graham,

I had never heard of installing a template as an add-in so
I looked it up it help. I gather from help that it is done
by copying the Sensient template to the Word startup
folder. Is that correct? Tried it and it worked. Is that
what you meant?

Thanks so much for your help.
