Wanted: Screen saver that links to my outlook calendar

This is a new product / add-on suggestion related to Outlook calendar & the
windows screen saver.

Right now I keep my team informed of where I am and when I'll be available
for them by printing my daily calendar and taping it to my door. This is
obviously not ideal, as my schedule changes hour by hour, so I often print
3-4 versions per day.

I need a screensaver that links to my Outlook calendar. When people walk by
my office and see my screen saver they should be able to discern where I am
and when I'll be back.

I'm thinking an ideal solution would display varying level of information
based on the screen saver settings I choose (or perhaps based on the privacy
setting of the calendar item). Wide-open settings would display what meeting
I'm in, where it is, and what time it ends. More private would display just
enough information to tell the person what time I'll be back at my desk.

Could you teach your team to look at the Group Schedules on their own PC?
It can be set up in 1 minute and can show your appointments - set permission
levels so that they know what each meeting is (unless you mark it private)
this way you can have a less paper based office.

No, it definitely needs to be on the screensaver.
- ANYONE coming by looking for me should be able to see where I am, when I
will be back, not just my team members
- if a team member is at my desk looking for me, they don't have access to
their own PC to see where I am at

The ANYBODY looking for me is the key, really.
I'm glad to see someone else is asking for this, too. If ANYONE has a
gadget to do this (calendar on the screensaver) please reply to this thread.
I've been wishing for this for a year now!

It totally agree with the screen saver idea. I work in a big company and
quite often out of the office. People come looking for me at any time of the
day. It would be very handy for them to be able to read my computer and not
ring me in the middle of meetings or days off from my own office. I actually
logged on to this site to make the very same suggestion.
