Wanting to turn off warning messages when HYPERLINK is invoked

I have a Visio flowchart where I want to be able to associate meaningful
amounts of text with each object. I am using the HYPERLINK function as the
action in the double click event, and that is working beautifully to access
the Word documents containing the text. However, I find myself having to
click through TWO warning boxes regarding the need for the file I'm accessing
to be trustworthy. Is there any way that I can turn those boxes off?

unfortunately those messages don't come from visio so there is nothing in
the product that can stop them.

Are those messages from Word? Or Office? Or Windows? I seem to remember
there being a way to turn them off, either with a checkbox directly on the
message box itself or with a switch somewhere in the software
settings...neither of which I have been able to locate, either in Visio or
Word...or Windows...

Hmmm...the header on the first one says "Microsoft Visio" and on the second
"Microsoft Office". And you're saying that even the first one is not in
Visio, despite that header?

Sorry...the first header says "Microsoft Office Visio"...but my question
still stands...

gene,
I've seen the question before and the response from MS Visio support was
that it was not in there basket to fix. My memory on the who they pointed to
specifically is vague but I believe it was the operating system.

Al:

Thanks for your assistance and patience. I'll see if I can find a fix in
Windows.
