wanting to view files to insert as thumbnails

I have two machines. One has Office 2000 installed and
one has Office XP. When inserting a file in XP I can veiw
my choices in thumbnail view so I can make sure I am
attaching the right image. I don't seem to be able to do
this in Office 2000. I don't want to uninstall 2000. Is
there any way to see this view too in 2000. I am using XP
home on both machines
