Wants MS OFfice 2000 SBS

Annoying problem.
When we had a workgroup, one of our PCs has MS Office 2000 professional
installed.

After installing our Small Business Server 2003 server, and running
connectcomputer to connect this PC to the domain, Outlook 2003 gets
downloaded and installed on the PC automatically.

Now, whenever the user does something with any Office produce, such as
opening an email or connecting to http://server/companyweb, she gets a
message asking for the MS Office 2000 SBS CD.

We have never had MS Office 2000 SBS, only professional. It rejects the MS
Office 2000 Professional CD as not having the correct software.

How can I get around this problem, without having to buy MS Office 2003
SBS?--

Hi Doug,

Is it asking for the Office 2000 Small Business *Edition* CD or is it asking for the MS 2000 Small Business Server (SBS) CD?

One of the configurations of SBS included a special bundled package of MS Office.

If you look in Add/Remove Programs in the Windows control panel are there any Office 2000 series products listed other than the
Office Professional Edition? If so, that can also cause the product to look for the installation source for that product when
installing, updating or repairing another Office product/version.
