Warning for non existent macros in template - Visio 2003

Alan.Fagg

can anybody please help me - I get pop up warnings when I open a
template I created to enable any macros. The template has no macros in
it. The only way to stop the popup is to set my macro security level
to "off" - which I'd rather not do.

I've ever had such an experience.
I turned of the option to force declare variables in menu option in VBA
editor.
And then deleted "Option Explicit" and all blank characters.

Or if your Visio is 2007, and if the Visio drawing and stencil foldes are
added as trusted folders with menu security center, security warnig will not
appears even if document has macro.

Correction:

Menu "Security Center" is in Japanese version.
It is "Trust Center" in Englishversion.

There used to be a bug that the Visio document would create a VBEProject
section, even if you didn't have any macros, if you saved it when you had
the VBA Editor open.
That doesn't happen in Visio 2007 fortunately, but you may need to save your
template as a VIsio XML type, then edit the XML in Notepad to delete the
VBEProject tags near the end of the document. Save it. Re-open the XML in
Visio, then Save back as binary.
