Warning Message:- The Custom Dictionary is not available

My version of Microsoft Word is 2002 (SP3) and all has been working fine
until today - now receiving a warning every time I wish to check spelling in
my document.
Message/Warning is: The custom dictionary is not available (it gives the
file location pathway as well).
Have tried re-selecting "custom dictionary" as default, but this does not
solve the problem.
The Office Program is Office XP Professional with Front Page.
Can anyone help?
