Warning message when replying to all from email received as a BCC

K

I wish Microsoft would flag an email and make it more obvious when it was
sent to you on BCC so that it is readily apparent and you don't have to look
carefully to know whether to use reply all or just reply. Or that it would
pop a warning up if you use reply all that you received the email via a BCC
and ask if you are sure you want to reply all.

I don't think that Reply All works with BCC recipients anyway........
Just with To and CC......
So it doesn't matter.

But it will reply to all that is in the To & Cc fields. If my boss adds me
to an email as a Bcc receipient & asks for a response to a question in the
email, if I reply to all the other receipients will see that my boss sent me
that email as a Bcc receipient. I almost replied to all this morning to an
email that he wanted me to know about but did not want some of the
receipients to know that I knew. A warning message that I received the email
as a Bcc receipient would be useful.

You can use a variety of options to make those messages stand out by means
of rules, Search Folders, categories and views. Most effective would
probably to color code them;

Thanks for your reply Roady. I still cannot get any of those methods to
filter emails to me where I am included on the Bcc field. The most logical
way was to go to Tools then Organize then Using Colors then Automatic
Formatting then Add then customized Font & color then Condition then Advanced
& tried the two most logical criterias:

1: Field = Bcc Condition = is(exactly) Value = Kenneth Maxey
2: Field = Bcc Condition = is not empty

Neither setting worked. It seems as if Outlook does not recognize what is
in the Bcc field when an email is sent to me with me as a Bcc receipient. Do
you have any other suggestions?
