Hello,
I have recently upgraded to Excel 2003 and I have noticed an annoyance I can
not seem to disable. I have a spreadsheet containing a large list of IP
addresses that contain a telnet:// hyperlink for each IP. I use this
spreadsheet so that I can quickly look up a location, click the IP, and
telnet to the location's main router.
Since upgrading to Excel 2003, when I click on the hyperlink a warning
dialog pops up stating 'Opening telnet://xx.xx.xx.xx/ Hyperlinks can be
harmful to your computer and data. To protect your computer, click only
those hyperlinks from trusted sources. Do you want to continue?'
Can this be disabled, an if so where do I disable it? I did not see anything
in the options.
Thanks,
Chris Miller
