I imagine you want the text to run along the line of the connector, and go
around corners?
This isn't possible in Visio without a great deal of hacking, especially if
the text changes often (ie: isn't fixed/graphical)
You *can*, however, move the text by using the Text Tool. This is located
under the "A" toolbar button (there's a drop-down arrow on the side), or by
simply pulling on the little yellow handle that you see when you select a
connector.
