Hello everyone,
I'm running Access 2003 on a Windows XP SP2 machine that is fully patched
and up to date. Here is a description of my problem:
I have a report that has group headers and footers. I have a control in the
group footer that calculates the total sum over the group. What I need to do
is add a control to the page footer that gives me a total sum for any given
page in the report. I have looked at KB article 216311, however I cannot
seem to get that code to work in my report. I've stepped through the code
and it calculates the sums correctly, however I cannot get Access to
recognize that value at run-time in the report. Access returns a #name?
error for the value of the control at print and print preview. Is there
something that I'm missing on how to set the ControlSource on the textbox in
the report to the value of the variable in the VBA code? The only thing that
I haven't done yet is to try this out in Access 2002, which I'm going to try
and do sometime today. Thanks in advance for any assistance that you can
offer.
