Office XP & Power Point

I have Microft Office XP-Small Business Edition version 2002 that came with
my Dell computer (I actually have 2 of these, one for my desktop and one for
my laptop). I need Power Point and thought that it was included in this
bundle but when I tried to use it, found that it is not on my computer and
not on my CD. I see that Power Point is included with Microsoft Office and
am wondering if there is a problem with my CD or if maybe this was something
that Dell had packaged.

I need to be able to create and edit PowerPoint files. It seems that other
versions of Office XP did include PowerPoint. If I upgrade to Office 2003,
which includes Power Point 2003, will I actually get PowerPoint?

Office 2003 Basic Edition does not include Powerpoint. All other
Office 2003 editions do include Powerpoint.

Yes, with the exception of Office Basic, which garfield-n-odie mentioned.

This is actually a new thing -- you can use the PPT 2003 upgrade version to
add PPT to Office XP SBE. Using an upgrade version to add PPT to Office SBE
(which didn't have PPT) wasn't possible in previous versions. Or, as you
mentioned, you can just upgrade to Office 2003.
