Was unable to initialize the Windows Registry

I have an Access97 runtime application running on WinXP.
It is installed through Novell Zenworks 3.2. I am logged
into the machine as a domain admin. If I open Access
2002, close it, then open my A97 runtime app, I
encounter "can't be started. was unable to initialize the
Windows Registry. Rerun Microsoft Access or Microsoft
Office Setup to Reinstall."

I have to reinstall the A97 runtime application in order
to get back in and it works until the next time I have to
open Access2002.

In Zenworks, the A97 object and Access2002 object are
both correctly defined to use their separate executable
files.

Any ideas would be most appreciated.
