Water Marks

How do you get water marks on a word document. We want
them to show up only when printing?

For a watermark that shows up only when printing, you'll need to use that
feature in your printer driver (if available). Word's watermarks are
floating graphics/text anchored to the header and will show up in Print
Layout view and Print Preview.
