Watermark does not appear at the right position when chosen

I have a word document created with header on it. When i try to insert a word
watermark in a diagonal direction, it didn't appear to be diagonally across
the page instead, it went up to the upper left hand corner and it looks ugly.

It is always good to experiment a bit. So, i removed the header and insert
in again the word watermark, this times round, it works perfectly. I don't
understand why? Can someone tell me if there is any relationship between the
header and the watermark? This sound stupid as i will have to remove the
header first everytime when watermark is needed...

A watermark is nothing but a graphic anchored to the header, formatted as
Behind Text and with color set to Washout. If you View | Header and Footer,
you can select the watermark and drag it where you want it.
