watermark on chart

Is there a way to include:
1) A watermark, such as a company logo, as a watermark
for an Excel 97 chart?

2) A watermark, such as DRAFT, as a watermark for an
Excel 97 chart?

I am not sure if it is available on 97, but if you right click the picture
and select 'format picture', click on picture tab and hopefully there should
be a and image control or something, then select "color" and hopefully there
will be options of; black & white, grayscale, watermark, etc

Ensure you know where your intended picture is stored. Left double clic
in plot area of chart, in wizard that appears click select fill effects
go to Picture Tab, click Seelct picture and locate your intende
picture, insert and then click OK on wizard. Picture now appears a
background within chart. Alas you cannot grey scale etc as in word, s
picture needs to be prepared before you place it as background. Hop
this is of use
