WATERMARK WON'T GO AWAY

In my 32 page document, the watermark shows up on on pages 12 - 32
even after I disconnected it. The first 11 - 12 pages are fine, I was
able to disconnect the mark. I have tried cutting and pasting these
pages into a new word doc but the watermark follows me everywhere.
Even if I only cut and past one paragraph at a time - the darn thing
still shows up when I past any copy from the original doc.

??? Thanks for the help - I really need it.

Put the cursor somewhere on page 12. View | Header/Footer. Now you
should be able to select and delete the watermark.

Even though the watermark is probably not in the header/footer, it is
nothing more than an image anchored there, and the header/footer has to
be active for you to directly access the watermark.

I don't know what you mean by disconnect the mark. If your document has
multiple sections, it is possible that you will have to repeat the
procedure above for each section, as each section can have different
headers.
