Please can anyone help me,
While following the instructions in “Help†Office 2003 with regards to
placing a picture as a watermark, (FORMAT-,BACKGROUND-PRINTED WATERMARK) when
I insert the picture I find that I am unable to see it at all, so I am unable
to resize ,postion it or set to grayscale as in Office 2000, should I be able
to do this if so can anyone tell me how. Also how do I insert clipart as a
watermark.

Regards

Office is a /suite/ *not* an application. Please state the application you
are using. I assume, in this instance, you mean Word. You cannot (TTBOMK)
resize the watermark once inserted, you have several size choices within the
watermark dialogue (from 400% down to 50%). As you would have found, had you
bothered to read the help troubleshooting, the watermark is only visible in
print layout and print preview. It is *NOT* visible in any other format.
Switch to print layout (which I use as default anyway) and your watermark
will be visible.

If that isn't what you meant, post back.

In Word, click on Tools | Options | View | check the "Drawings" box and
uncheck the "Picture placeholders" box | Print | check the "Drawing objects"
box | OK. You should be able to see the watermark now in Print Layout view
and in Print Preview.

To access the watermark, click on View | Header and Footer. To resize the
watermark, click once on the watermark to select it, and use the resizing
handles to resize it. To reposition the watermark, click once on the
watermark to select it, and drag it to where you want it. To change it to
grayscale, right-click once on the image, left-click on Format Picture |
Picture | Color: Grayscale | OK.

To insert clipart as a watermark, click on View | Header and Footer, click
on Insert | Picture | Clip Art, select and insert a clipart image,
right-click once on the image, left-click on Format Picture | Layout | Behind
text | Picture | Color: Washout or Watermark | OK.
