Watermarking .txt file.

Is there ANY way to somehow watermark your documents? So if I let people
download some .txt file from my homepage and I come across with same looking
file in internet, I can identify it as my file?

I now this is easily done to pictures but for text files?
And, if not for .txt files, maybe for more complex, like .doc files?

Good luck,

IMHO absolutely not.. a plain text file is void of all formatting and
therefore cannot be watermarked. I watermark is simple a semi-transparent
graphic and text files don't contain graphic.

If your going to allow your txt files to be freely downloaded your gonna
have to accept the risk of plagiarism or find an inconvient method of
copying your work. Standard disclaimers and emails to where you 'find your
work' are about all you can do.

Maybe creating PDF's with the watermark inbedding - still reversible but
more inconvient than simply cut 'n' paste text files.
