Watermarks from Addin-code, continued

This is continued from av previous question:

Using the sample code from the question "Watermarks from Addin-code"
gives me problem when the document has a "Different first page"-setting
in the pagelayout.
The first page won't contain a watermark, regardless of the settings in the
properties thru the code.

Does anyone have a suggestion other than changing document layout to have
first page same as all others?
