WAV files won't play upon loading in browser!

I have two small wav files i inserted as background
sounds on two separate pages. They're small. 271K and
20K, respectively. The path is correct for both of them.
They won't play in the browser when page loads. If I
right click on them in the folder list, and click on OPEN
WITH, I get an Open With Editor box with Frontpage
(frontpg.exe) highlighted and the option to OK or Cancel.
Won't play that way. If I just click on OPEN on the
submenu, they will play in my default media player
RealOne. If i click on PREVIEW IN BROWSER from the
submenu in the folder list, it WILL play. BUT,when i
click on the Preview in Browser button on toolbar to
preview the actual page, the page opens, somewhat slowly,
and the audio NEVER PLAYS! Hrrrmmph. Please tell me why.

Are you using <bgsound=> or ,<embed=> or <body onload="sound.wav"> (whatever!?)

or similar?

Maybe you need a javascript to play the sound started by the onload event.



one is IE, one is NS - either will work in the other browser.....embed doesn't
work in IE, bgsound doesn't work in NS.
