WAV FILES

I have 2 wave files - 1 music that i want to play throughout the presentation
and 1 speaking file that i want to play louder than the music only on 1
slide. I got both to play but I can't get the speaking file to play louder
than the music file on that 1 slide. No matter how I adjust the volume on
each (lowest setting on music and highest setting on speaking) they both play
at the same volume. What am I doing wrong?

You're not doing anything wrong. That volume slider thing in PPT is badly
labeled. It only works for sounds the computer generates -- like MIDI, for
example. For WAV volume, you either have to turn up your speaker, or you
must edit the WAV in a sound editor.
