Is there a way, to have an email you just deleted show up at the top of the trash folder list?
Sometimes I accidentally delete something, and I want to be able to quickly find it in trash at the top of the list.
Problem is that I have it arranged by Sent.
So if the original email came three days ago, its then four pages down somewhwere hard to find. What can I do? thanks!

Use Command-Z to undo the action. It only works if you do this immediately
after the delete action.

Diane, thanks. You did not understand the question.
I going to redouble my efforts:

I do not want to undo it. I want to delete it. Sorry, my fault.

But let's say in an hour, I want to "look" at the deleted item.
Well if someone sent it to me a few days ago, it's going to be hard to find.
I would think it would be right at top of list, easy to find. But no. Is there a logical way that the last item you delted would be at the top of the deleted items list?

Entourage marks messages by when they're received but it does not mark
them in any way when they are moved to a different folder, including the
Deleted Items folder. It cannot sort any messages to the top by deletion
date/time.

Then don't delete it. Or use Search. Or create a "Deleted on 10/02/09"
folder and move your messages there.

You need to manage messages within the limits of the application. Learn
what Entourage can do rather than trying to bend it to your method of
thinking. You'll have a much easier time.
