I am working on my laptop with several documents that I keep on Sharepoint.
When I open them in edit mode, everything is fine until I suspend/resume my
laptop or if I change locations and my network connection drops temporarily.
Then Word changes the file status to "Read Only" and I cannot save the file
unless I change the name -- then I have to manually go back and save it over
the original file and delete the temporary file I created in the Save As.
I must say this is REALLY ANNOYING. Is there a way to tell Word, once it has
marked a file as "read only", to undo that and allow me to save it and
overwrite it anyway? If not, I would suggest adding the ability to do this.
