Is there a difference between "Insert Hyperlink"(<Cmd>-K) and "Action
Settings"/"Hyperlink toŠ"? I am especially interested in their uses when
hyperlinking to another slide in the same file.
I tend to use the former if I feel compelled to include a "screen tip," but
I prefer using "Action Settings" because once I indicate that I am seeking
another slide in the same presentation, thumbnail images appear and my
scrollbar works; on the other hand, using <Cmd>-K lets me enter a "screen
tip," even though I must rely on the slide title for identification and
can't scroll through the slides.
Though I can't be sure my memory isn't faulty, I believe that sometimes I'm
given no choice about which screen will appear when I press <CMD>-K,
"Insert Hyperlink"or "Action Settings."
