HelpMe!

Can anybody give me some guidance?
I find myself in the irritating position of having no choice but to do some
development on an old version of Word.
However, what i need is the addin wbODBC.wll.
I believe that it was part of the Microsoft Word Developers Kit 3rd Edition.
My problem is that i cant find it.
The microsoft site at
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;164370 talks about
it, but the links on this page are dead. Can anybody tell me where i could
get hold of it?
Thanks in advance.

Hi

Have you tried the microsoft.public.word.word6-7macros News Group. Also have
you tried Google?

Thanks Peter,

I've searched high & low, but all i can find is references to the book. I
would have prefered to just get hold of the files (Wbodbc97.dot, Wbodbc.wll,
Test.mdb, Readme.txt ) contained on its disk, but it looks like i may have
to get the whole book.
sigh!
It would be so much easier if Microsoft just maintained their links!

Hi

I've checked my archieved documentation and found that I still have the
Microsoft Word Developers Kit 3rd Edition book and it's two accompanying
floppies. One for the PC and one for the Mac (yes it's so old all you got was
one floppies worth). But I can't get it to you easily as I don't have a
floppy drive. If you can post your email address I can try and get it emailed
to you, but it may take me a couple of days. This assumes that the floppy is
still readable!

Cheers - Peter
