WBS ID change when moving a task

In MS Project 2000 (SP-1), moving a task from one location
to another in the plan does not dynamically change the WBS
ID, and it should. Has anyone else notice this?

Hi Rob,

What was called WBS in P98 is called Outline Number in P2000, and that one
always changes allright.
A customized WBS doesn't automatically; you have to activate Project, WBS,
Renumber.

Project/WBS/Renumber was greyed out for some reason. But
I created a new column in the "Outline Number" format
which should work.
