WBS number

I saved my project file in access. For some reason, when I look in the task
table and locate the Task_WBS field, some of the tasks do not have a wbs
number. When I look in the project file, itself, all tasks have one. Any
idea as to why and what I can do to fix it?
thanks

Hello sk,

Using Project 2003 SP-3 and a test file, I can confirm that the
MSP_Task table does not seem to show WBS codes in the Task_WBS
field. Why, I don't know.

However, by creating a custom WBS and then saving as a mdb again,
all is fine. Create the custom wbs through Project > WBS > Define
code. I used "numbers (ordered)" for all levels with no
customization -- essentially creating the exact same "custom" wbs as
the regular. Once I create the custom WBS, I renumbered through
Project > WBS > Renumber and renumbered all wbs codes for the
project.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.
