wdActiveEndPageNumber can be wrong!

I've been using wdActiveEndPageNumber to find out the page number of various
selections in footnotes/endnotes. In one situation, it returns the incorrect
page number.

Example. Suppose the footnote reference object (the superscript object) for
footnote 1 appears on page 1. But the actual text of footnote 1 appears on
page 2. When the actual text of footnote 1 is selected, using
wdActiveEndPageNumber (as well as wdActiveEndAdjustedPageNumber) returns page
1. This is incorrect - it should say page 2, as it correctly does at the
bottom of the Word screen, near the line numbering, vertical postioning, and
section number.

Does anybody have a solution?
