wdb file prob

I goofed! Had a wdb extension on a file (file had been
saved on a disk). When prompted to open file for the
first time, I incorrectly "guessed" that it needed to use
the "Excel" program. Well, Excel doesn't open this file
and now it's set to default to Excel.

1. What program should I have used for opening this wdb
file?

2. Now that the computer "thinks" it is attached to Excel
for opening this file, how do I change this?

Any suggestions out there???

It is a Works database file.

You can remove by going to My Computer, Tools, Folder Options, File Type
tab. Find the entry for *.wdb, select and delete it.
