WDS Message in Vista RC1 every time I open OneNote

I don't have OneNote 2007 Beta 2 installed because every time I open it, I
get a message stating the the WDS needs to be installed.

Well, I'm running Vista RC1 and the WDS is embedded in the product.

Also, being since I don't have it installed at the moment, when I go to
install it, will I have to reinstall the Office 2007 Office System B2TR?
According to another post I've seen the OneNote updates are included in that
file.

Can someone please help me?

Thanks!

From your post, I assume that you have Office 2007 B2TR (Outlook, Word,
etc) installed? If that's the case, then you'll have to remove all
Office 2007 applications, install all Beta 2 applications you want (so
Office plus OneNote) and then install the B2TR patch. The patch will
take care of OneNote as well, but you cannot install any Beta 2 programs
anymore after it has been applied. Also, the patch itself cannot be
removed.
The correct WDS engine for OneNote 2007 B2TR is included in Vista RC1.
OneNote Beta 2 was working with the WDS engine in Vista B2.

You need BCM B2TR. I have a direct link to it in my B2TR issues blog
post on my website.

Patrick,

I've got BCM B2TR, BcmBeta2TR.exe. To my dismay it gave me the same results
as the Beta 2 installation file.

During the installation I get two "Warning" messages that I need to upgrade
to SQL Server 2005 SP2 or later.

In a response by Luthor on the Outlook BCM forum with subject "BCM 2007 -
SQL Server 2005 SP2 - Messages", he says the if this is on Vista, I can just
ignore the message and then he goes on to explain why. I think he makes a
good point, but I definately would not mind your feedback on this as well as
it's something you might want to add to your site, which I really like btw.
Good job!

What do you think?

Thanks!

You should post about this in an Outlook group. I got the piece about
BCM B2TR from Sue Mosher, as I don't run it myself. If you post in the
Outlook groups, she'll probably reply. She knows about BCM, I don't.
