The webmaster for our group has left us with an outdated site. How do I make
updates? Do I need info off the other person's computer or is it saved on the
web?

Presuming that they used frontpage (what version?) and that your using
frontpage (what version?)

Do you know the logins for the host?
Do you know where the domain is hosted? Do you have the logins for that?
Does the host have fpse (frontpage server extensions) enabled on the host?

You can publish the site from the server to your hard drive (publish or ftp
not import). Then you will have the site on your hard drive to make edits to
and you can publish to the server.

You need the logins information firstly.
