We want the Office Shortcut Bar back!!!

Bill Gates and the developers spent many months debating
whether to include the shortcut bar in 2003. After much
discussion, they all agreed that the shortcut bar was a
very popular tool with the end users, so of course, they
also agreed not to include it in 2003.

Fortunately, they only increased the price substantially

I just upgraded Office 2000 to 2003 and it's nice,
especially Outlook, but where is the Office Shortcut Bar?

1. Prices did not increase.

2. Bill G. and company listened to customers who complained about CODE
BLOAT and let the other options, already in place in the operating system,
take care of creating toolbars.

3. They stopped "bolting" applications to the program so that third party
programmers had a chance to add features in a competitive manner (Jet
Audio).

Two can play the spin game.
