weather.com magnet

Tim

I'm having trouble getting the new version of weather.com
weather magnet to work on my site.

I've ran the older version with no problem for several
years. However I can't get the new one to work.

Has anybody had any experiance with this?

Thanks

I'm sorry, but I don't see another post. I did post this
question twice because I never found it the first time.
What did I do wrong, and where is the original post?

Thanks

Hey Tim,
Here's the pertinent part of your post and the answers.

Also, make sure you change the ZIP-HERE or whatever it says in the code they
sent you to your actual zip code.
This is the code from a site I'm a building;
http://www.destinsbestcondos.com/

<script
src='http://voap.weather.com/weather/oap/32541?template=TRVLH&par=1003401027&uni
t=0&key=c06c952472541e3aa0cb7b66c2d012a1'>
</script>

Notice the zip code there.... 32541

Make sure you paste the code into notepad first, then into FP in HTML view.

Your server might not be showing you both posts. You posted the exact same
thing late on 9/16/02 (Trouble with adding Weather Magnet to my site) and
again about 1-1/2 later (weather.com magnet).

In the other thread Thomas said to make sure you paste the code into Notepad
before putting it into FrontPage, and Destin said to make sure you put the
zip code in the appropriate spot in the script.

If you're not using Microsoft's news server, you might want to switch to
that. It is news.microsoft.com. You'll likely lose fewer posts.
